Verizon will not offer any Windows Phone 7 devices at launch

The Microsoft-Verizon partnership looks a bit messy at this point following the failure of the Kin. Verizon has announced that they will not sell any Windows Phone 7 devices at launch this October.

This verifies AT&T’s claim of “premier carrier” of Windows Phone, as we haven’t heard much from T-Mobile or Sprint about their affiliation with the OS.

Things are getting interesting, because Android is sinking into most markets, while the iPhone is still exclusive on AT&T. If there was ever a time to launch Windows Phone, now might just be the best time to strike.
