New build of Windows Phone “Tango” found on server logs

Build 8713 of Windows Phone “Tango” has been spotted on the WP Bench server logs, a popular benchmarking website for Windows Phones.

“Tango” will be the two-part successor to Windows Phone 7.5 Mango and will serve as an interim update leading up to Windows Phone 8 Apollo.

Microsoft is expected to go into the capabilities of Tango at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in January, whose biggest features will probably include support for popular new hardware such as 720p displays, SD card slots, LTE, dual-core CPUs, and 480×320 Blackberry-style screen design.

Also rumored is Nokia’s showing of an upcoming AT&T Windows Phone supporting 4G LTE and sporting the new Tango update.
