Microsoft Moves Andy Lees Out of Head Windows Phone Job

AllThingsD has reported that Andy Lees, the man behind Microsoft’s mobile push, has been moved out of his position as the head of Windows Phone business. Steve Baller’s exact statement on the decision is “I have asked Andy Lees to move to a new role working for me on a time-critical opportunity focused on driving maximum impact in 2012 with Windows Phone and Windows 8.” Terry Myserson, the former VP of Windows Phone engineering, has been moved to fill Andy’s position. These moves have been made to ensure Windows Phone’s momentum.
