Rumor: Nokia Ace Coming to AT&T and Verizon in Early 2012 with LTE

A new rumor has surfaced at WMPowerusers that could be very good news for customers of the two biggest U.S. carriers. A phone called the Nokia Ace is rumored to come to both AT&T and Verizon in the first quarter of 2012. The best news is that this phone will be Nokia’s first LTE device, and the first one they market heavily in the U.S.

The rumor goes on to say that the hardware is all ready to go, but they are waiting on Windows Phone Tango. The specs start with a 4.3″ screen (most likely ClearBlack), 8MP camera, 16GB storage, Tango, 1.4GHz processor, and some sweet LTE goodness. Nokia is pushing for a late January release, but March is more realistic. This is one phone we’ll be keeping a very close eye on.
