Nokia to Unleash “Operation Rolling Thunder” in 2012, Will Have “Large Presence” at CES

This is the news we’ve been waiting to hear. Chris Weber, the head of Nokia USA (not former Fab Five member), has said they will be launching their attack on the U.S. in what they call “Operation Rolling Thunder.” That almost sounds like something straight out of a DROID commercial. He goes on to say “we will be launching a portfolio of devices in the U.S. across a range of price points.” The Lumia 710 is just the beginning of their U.S. effort, says Weber. Expect the real onslaught to begin at CES. “We’ll have a very large presence and it’ll be clear that Nokia is back in a quite strong way in the U.S,” said Weber about CES.

Mighty strong words from Nokia. We’ll have to wait and see if they can back up their words with devices on all carriers. Keep it dialed here for all the Nokia news at CES.
