eBuddy XMS Gets Updated With Some New Metro Digs

Last week we wrote about eBuddy XMS beta launching for testing. Many people noticed the apps lack of a Metro looking design, and apparently the developers noticed too. An update for the beta has launched with a much more native looking UI. As you can see in the screenshots above it looks like it belongs on Windows Phone now.

eBuddy is a popular all-in-one IM client for a number of platforms, but they have taken a different approach for Windows Phone. Instead of the usual all-in-one IM client they’ve instead gone with a BBM like service. In other words the app will give you a SMS-like experience with other people using the app. Whether they can compete with the plethora of existing options will be the real test.
