Nokia Officially Announces the Nokia Lumia 900 for AT&T [Gallery]

It’s the moment we were all waiting for, the Nokia Lumia 900 finally being announced. Nokia and Stephen Elop have taken the wraps off their first major U.S. Windows Phone (sorry, Lumia 710) the Nokia Lumia 900 for AT&T. Elop calls the Lumia line a series of beachheads that are needed to be¬†successful¬†in the mobile war. One of the things Nokia talked most about was the great cameras on both the front and back. Both are wide angle lenses, and the front camera can gather more light than most rear cameras.

Nokia also showed off their exclusive apps like Nokia Drive, ESPN, and CNN. Steve Ballmer also came on stage and talked about Nokia’s fast start and how much customers love the new Mango version of Windows Phone. Lastly the president and CEO of AT&T came on stage and boasted about the long term relationship with Nokia and Microsoft. We’ll have much more on the 900 once our internet connection is more stable.

Specs on the 900 are mostly like we expected. 4.3″ ClearBlack AMOLED Display, 4G LTE, 8MP camera on the rear, 2.2MP camera, 1.4GHz processor, and it comes in Black and Cyan. This is one sexy device that we can’t wait to get our hands on. Who’s excited?
