Nokia Plans to Release Exclusive Phones to Each US Carrier

If you’re curious about Nokia’s Operation Rolling Thunder and what it means for Windows Phones in the United States, then you’ll be happy to know that the company plans on releasing exclusive phones to each US carrier. This is an interesting decision since Verizon only carries one Windows Phone and according to recent rumors, the company has no plans to offer any others in their line up.

However, Nokia said that Verizon is a “very important partner” so this means that new Windows Phones will likely find their way onto the network soon. How soon or whether or not we’ll see more than one additional phone remains to be seen. We know that AT&T will carry the Lumia 800 and the Lumia 900, so what Nokia has up its sleeve for exclusivity for Verizon will be very interesting in the coming months.
