Windows Phone Browser Set to Overtake BlackBerry in France

Windows Phone has been doing particularly well in France, where handsets like the ZTE Tania, Acer Allegro, and of course the Lumia 800 have been available for some time. According to StatCounter, a browser metrics firm, the OS is set to overtake BlackBerry usage in the country sometime in the near future.

Of course, beating BlackBerry is like stepping over a dead horse and claiming you won the race, but still this sort of growth is the kind of thing both Microsoft and Nokia are hoping to replicate in the United States. The Lumia 710 is currently available in the States, with the Lumia 900 set to launch just a few months away.
