Nokia Set to Launch Windows Phones in China in the First Half of 2012

Nokia has been pretty serious about its operation “Rolling Thunder”,where the company plans on taking the world by storm with its new Windows Phone handsets. The Finnish handset maker is all primed to step  in on Chinese manufacturer ZTE’s territory within the first half of this year, according to ComputerWorld.

ZTE plans on releasing its own Windows Phone smartphone to its home country, but not until the third quarter of 2012. With Nokia getting a jumpstart on ZTE, it will be interesting to see how well Windows Phone can maintain marketshare in China against the likes of Android and iOS, and which manufacturer will come out on top.
