New Form Factors For Windows Phone on the Horizon?

An interesting slide from Nokia World has popped up on TechRadar in regards to Windows Phones and where they will be in the future. Albert Shum, the General Manager of the Windows Phone Design studio gave the presentation and showed what could potentially be a Windows Phone watch, a tablet, and potentially a QWERTY keyboard in the same vein as a BlackBerry.

When asked about the form factors, Shum said, “You want an ecosystem that’s not just about having just one or two things; you want diversity.”

There was no time scale attached other than the word “tomorrow”, but with Windows 8 looming we could see the tablet form factor sooner rather than later.
