Homebrew Orientation Lock Gets Improved

A homebrew app that allows users to lock the orientation of their device, a.k.a. disable the accelerometer, was resleased a short time ago. The app was not the ideal solution since it only worked on LG devices, required interlop-unlock, and you had to restart your phone to disable it.

Today Windows Phone Hacker has released an updated version of Orientation Lock. The new version works on any unlocked device, interlop-unlock or otherwise, and doesn’t require reboots to restore the accelerometer. Basically they have removed all the negatives from the previous version. If you’re interested in giving this a try, and you meet the requirements, head to this link.
