Microsoft Shows Off New Office 15 Metro Style

Microsoft revealed the full details of its Windows 8 ARM edition today, including the fact that the ARM edition will be able to run full desktop apps. Along with this reveal, Microsoft detailed its next generation Office version, which which will see an all new Metro interface to bring the application in line with other Microsoft products.

The new look is much flatter, as can be expected. More white space is available, as there are fewer lines toward the top. The standard ribbon is hidden and there’s no indication as to how to display it, so it may be removed in future versions. Check out the video below by The Verge to see a full preview.
