[Rumor] Nokia Announcing Six New Phones at MWC?

For those of you who thrive on the next best thing, PocketNow has gotten wind of Nokia’s supposed lineup reveal for Mobile World Congress that shows the company will be revealing six, count ’em six new handsets at the event.

The European version of the Lumia 900 is apparently going to be available, but also a new model, called the Lumia 610. Given the name and the numbering, we’re assuming that the 610 will feature Tango at some point and will be even more budget priced than the 710, which many carriers already offer for free.

Details on the other four handsets haven’t surfaced, but you can bet we’ll keep you updated if anything else shows up before the big event in a few weeks.

  • Dang. They are just pushin out phones like crazy.

I wonder if it will keep anyone from buying bc they’re waiting to see if they can hold out for next big thing. Usually you want to give consumers some time to actually take the bait and buy before teasing the next devices. If I knew anything about the Galaxy Nexus when I bought my NexusS, I would have waited for over a year to get it and just gotten by with a budget device instead.
