Bazaar (Homebrew Marketplace) Releases Desktop Application

In the past we’ve talked about Bazaar, the app trying to be the Cydia of Windows Phone. If you’re unfamiliar with Cydia it’s the App Store for jailbroken iDevices. Bazaar is trying to be the same thing on Windows Phone, a┬ácentralized┬álocation for all homebrew applications. Bazaar has been integrated into a few ROMs, but it’s still hard to get on more devices.

The creators of Bazaar have released a Windows desktop application that brings the same functionality of the app to the desktop. Like we said above, the app has a very simple goal: putting homebrew apps in an easier to find environment. The desktop app takes design cues from the Zune desktop app. It’s easy to navigate, and it’s divided into categories. You can also download and install apps directly to your phone.

This is a must have app for anyone with an unlocked device. If you don’t want to waste any more time on XDA looking for apps you’ll love Bazaar. Grab it right here.
