Windows 8 Consumer Preview Build 8250 Readying for MWC Debut

Those of you who are looking forward to Microsoft’s next operating system have less than a week to wait for the Consumer Preview version, which will make its debut at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona on February 29th. Microsoft will most likely sign off on the final version of the build today, which stands at 8250.

The special event will have a public showing, with several pre-installed games and applications available for tinkering. Also making its debut is the new Windows 8 logo and if rumors or true, we may see some sort of revamp of Zune to be a mixture of iTunes and Spotify. We’re excited about this release and will keep you up to date as the event unfolds.
