Windows Mobile Marketplace Getting Buried on May 9th, Long Live Windows Phone

If all the Windows Mobile users in the world could join me in this very small room there is a sad story to report. Don’t worry, there is enough seating for all 12 of you. On May 9th the Windows Mobile Marketplace is¬†officially¬†being shutdown. In June Microsoft announced users would no longer be able to download apps from the Windows Mobile Marketplace, and now they are finally taking out the trash completely. This is a very good sign that Microsoft is trying to put WinMo behind them so they can concentrate on WinPho. Goodbye Marketplace, rest in peace.
