Gameboy Emulator “Purple Cherry” Coming to the Marketplace Soon

Remember when mobile gaming meant putting a cartridge in your Gameboy? We do too, and although the games on our phones can do much more than those old cartridges we’ve lost some of the charm. That’s where emulators come into play.

The developer who has brought “Blue Tomato,” a Sega Gamegear emulator, to Windows Phone is working on a Gameboy emulator. This emulator is called “Purple Cherry,” and it borrows the same design as Blue Tomato. Check out the screenshots throughout this post to get an idea of what to expect. Purple Cherry is expected to cost $1.49 and should arrive soon.
