Optus Australia Sold Out of Black Lumia 800

After just a week of availability, WPDownunder is reporting that Optus Australia is out of stock for the black Lumia 800. The phone launched on the carrier for just $49 for a 24 month contract, making it an attractive deal for new and upgrading customers alike.

If you can’t wait to get your hands on the device, the carrier still has the cyan color in stock, though there is no word on when the black version will be restocked. This early sell out means a good start for Nokia in Australia, which bodes well for when the handsets finally launch here in the US outside of T-Mobile.
