Windows Phone 7.5 Bumps Multitasking View to 8 Apps

When talking about the new features coming with Tango, or “Windows Phone 7.5 Refresh” as Microsoft calls it, we usually are talking about where they are making cuts for low-end devices. This time we’ve got some good news for power users.

Users running the leaked Tango roms have noticed that the usual five apps in the multitasking view has been bumped up to eight. This is thanks to Tango using memory more efficiently than previous versions. Tango uses 122MB vs the 153MB that Mango uses. Looks like the low-end users aren’t the only ones in for some goodies.
