One of the most burning questions in people’s minds is how well Windows Phone will do once it is widely available in the United States. Currently the only phone available is the Lumia 710, which is a budget-minded smartphone designed to help penetrate the market. So how is it doing? Surprisingly well, according to T-Mobile spokeswoman Cara Walker.
“Since launch (the Lumia 710) has consistently been among the most popular phones in the T-Mobile lineup. We’re very pleased with the product and the reception it’s getting among our customers.”
While both T-Mobile and Nokia have declined to give sales figures for the phone, Keith Nowak of Nokia had this to say as well:
“We are certainly pleased with the positive momentum that we are seeing with our initial Lumia offering in the U.S., as well as the reaction we have seen from customers.”
Of course, you don’t need numbers to see that the Lumia 710 is in the top five phones ordered online since the phone launched in February.
