Microsoft Getting More Colorful in Latest Windows 8 Builds

The Windows 8 CE has been downloaded over a million times so far, but despite that popularity there have been some complaints. One of the more common complaints among users is the lack of customizability in the Metro interface. Currently the Metro desktop has 9 color options, along with some pattern overlays. According to Win8China the number has been bumped way up to 25 in the latest builds. Color may be small thing to some people, but it’s nice to see Microsoft realize that perhaps this isn’t an area to exercise so much control. After all, it is our computer, right? We’re still expecting to see an October release of Windows 8.

  • I like colors. And all them colors on the bottom look decent. Can’t wait for some screens of each.
