Lumia 610 Headed to Ireland in Q2 2012

China was the first confirmed country to be receiving the Lumia 610, but now that the Tango update is rolling out, the low cost phone is headed to more countries. This time Ireland is the lucky receiver, joining the UK, Netherlands, India, and Germany.

The affordable phone was announced for Ireland on the Nokia Ireland Facebook page with this to say:

Consumer: “when is Nokia Lumia 610 coming. I think it be great if Nokia give Lumia 610 or 720 to developers to be able to program an application and test it out. As i am working on Windows Phone application and i need a windows phone to make sure it works and i will give it back”

Nokia Ireland: “[…] the Nokia Lumia 610 will be coming to Ireland in Q2. We will be sure to keep you posted on it’s arrival!”

No information on pricing was released, so we’ll keep you up to date as we receive  more information. However, it’s likely the phone will be free under subsidized plans and very affordable if you want to buy it unlocked.
