AT&T on Lumia 900 Launch, “We’re Going Big”

AT&T’s product launches have been pretty stellar in the past, but it looks like they’re really hoping to step up the game with the launch of the Lumia 900 on April 8th. AT&T’s Jeff Bradley recently spoke to CNET about the launch of the phone and described it as being “a notch above anything we’ve ever done.”

Obviously Microsoft wants to make sure the launch of the Lumia 900 goes well, which is why employees were given the chance to upgrade to the device and given extensive training on the Windows Phone operating system and the strengths and weaknesses. They’re equipping the sales force to offer Windows Phones over even iPhone and Android devices.

We’re eager to see if such a promotion will work, but reports around the globe say that areas that have already seen Lumia launches are doing very well. In fact, T-Mobile’s ┬áLumia 710 has been in the top ten handsets since its launch earlier this year.
