Microsoft schedules Windows Phone Developer Summit for June 20-21

In a lot of peoples eyes Windows Phone suffers from a lack of apps. In order to create those apps Microsoft needs to attract developers to the platform. They’ve done an excellent job at getting student developers on board, and great apps like Baconit have come from student devs. In order to get to the next level Windows Phone needs more than just student developers.

To help with this problem Microsoft has announced a Windows Phone Developer Summit to take place from June 20 – 21 is SanĀ Francisco. We’re not entireley sure what will all be discussed at this event. It’s possible that there will be some news about Windows Phone 8, and it’s also possible that it’s just strictly developer talk. Either way we’re looking forward to it.
