Samsung Focus 2 announced for AT&T, available for $49 on May 20th

We’ve seen a lot of the Samsung “Mandel” in the last few weeks, but we weren’t expecting this surprise. Microsoft has announced on their Windows Phone blog that the Samsung Focus 2 (formerly known as Mandel) will be launching on May 20th. The phone will be available on AT&T (go figure) for the very affordable $49.

The Focus 2 is another AT&T LTE equipped Windows Phone to join the Lumia 900 and Titan II. The F2 has a 4″ Super AMOLED display, 5MP camera, VGA front-facing camera, 8GB of storage, 1750mAh battery, and a 1.4GHz processor. It comes in at 10.98mm thick, 4.1oz, and will only be available in white.

This is another great addition to AT&T’s growing Windows Phone lineup, and great for budget conscious customers.

  • Just wondering, since you run WinSource, how much traffic do you need to start receiving those phones for review?

  • WinSource

We have enough to get phones to review. The Titan II was sent to us to review. The only issue is we might not get them as early as other sites, but we certainly try to.
