MetroRadio Updated to Fix Pandora API Connection Issue

A few weeks ago Pandora updated their API which broke access to many unofficial Windows Phone apps such as Radio Controlled and Metro Radio. The former was quick to receive an update for the new API changes, but Metro Radio lagged behind. This considerably hurt the ratings for the paid app, which costs $1.29. Many customers left one star ratings because the app they purchased did not work.

Metro Radio finally received an update today both for the free and paid versions. There don’t seem to be any changes to the app aside from the update to make it work again, so if Metro Radio is your app of choice to access Pandora, you’re in luck. If being left out in the cold for nearly three weeks has left a sour taste in your mouth, you might want to consider Radio Controlled (currently back in beta), as the developer behind the app is a bit more timely with his updates even if the interface isn’t as nice as Metro Radio.
