Windows Phone 8 ready for June release, on Nokia hardware by years end

The next 6 months are going to be huge for Windows Phone, and it all likely starts next month at Microsoft’s Developer Summit. An Israeli tech website has reported that Nokia is planning to release a WP8 handset before years end. This is allegedly according to a Nokia representative.

The same rep also said that June will be the month for Windows Phone 8. We don’t expect a full on release of WP8 in June, but perhaps a beta version, and definitely the SDK. The rep didn’t have much more to say on the subject in case you’re wondering about the update drama. We still expect current devices to not receive WP8.
