Facebook for Windows Phone receives update

It’s always a good day when a billion dollar company updates their Windows Phone app. Version 2.5 of Facebook for Windows Phone has popped up in the Marketplac with some long awaited features.

First on the list is threaded messaging, included in group messaging as well. Tagging people in posts has been made easier, you can now do it by using “with” and “at.” You can now remove posts from your wall by tapping and holding them. Links are now clickable (finally!). Last but not least is the ability to like comments.

A nice update all around. To force the app to update you can use a little trick. Search for Facebook in the Marketplace: search Facebook in the Marketplace > go to the app page > tap back > go to the app page again and the update button should be there.
