Microsoft Releases Photosynth for Windows Phone

The Windows Phone app marketplace continues to grow, this time with a new addition from Microsoft itself. Yesterday evening the company launched Photosynth, a new app for the marketplace which allows for the creation of 3D panoramas from several individual 2D shots. This is an interesting concept since most panorama apps such as Pano create a 2D stitched panorama.

Microsoft claims this new app is currently the only mobile application that can create a full panoramic sphere to allow for a 360 degree panorama. The app allows for easy sharing to Facebook and Twitter of the scenes once created and is currently available free of charge. If you’re interested in checking it out, hit the button below.
