Asus, Acer, and Toshiba set to announce Windows 8 tablets next week

The news for Windows 8 is really starting to pick up. We’re heard rumors that manufacturers like Nokia and Huawei are working on Windows 8 tablets, but today we have some more joining the party.

Bloomberg is reporting that Acer and Toshiba will unveil Windows 8 tablets at Computex next week. The Acer will be Intel-based, while the Toshiba will be Texas Instruments ARM processor.  Asus is also expected to unveil a Tegra powered Windows 8 tablet, and they have basically confirmed that in their latest teaser video.

The video shows a Windows and Android logo splitting off from one water droplet. This could be a tip of the hat to a dual booting tablet. Only time will tell.
