Google shows off Chrome for Metro

Google promised that they would be bringing a Metro version of Chrome to Windows 8, and they are sticking to their word. The Chromium Blog has posted an update about Chrome for Metro, and the good news is it will be available in the next dev release if you’re running Windows 8 RP.

Unfortunately when Windows 8 is ready for official release you won’t be able to use Chrome with an ARM processor, which means all those Windows RT device will be IE only. Windows 8 features included in the Chrome for Metro will be share options from charms and snap view.

Oh, and it looks pretty much like you would expect Chrome to look. It actually looks a lot like Chrome for Android.
