Windows Phone 8 will include 3D Nokia Maps, Skype integration, and NFC wallet

We’re still a week away from Microsoft’s Windows Phone dev summit where we expect to see some new info about WP8, but information is already trickling in. A couple interesting tidbits have trickled in today from WPCentral.

We’ve been hearing rumors that Nokia Maps will replace Bing Maps in WP8, and that still appears to be true. 3D navigation and hardware acceleration is also supposedly included.

The long hoped for Skype integration is also said to be included in WP8, and we’re very glad to see that. A NFC waller experience may also make the cut. Next week can’t come soon enough.
