The Summit event has just beguun, and already we’re seeing some great new features for Windows Phone 8. First on the list is the much requested dual-core support. This will make new phones blazing fast, and even help current phones.

Screen resolutions are also getting an upgrade. New resolutions will be 720p, WXVGA. This will bump up the specs to 1280×768 ad 1280×720.

Last in the hardware support category is MicroSD support. Now you will be able to upgrade your phones storage if you want, and much welcomed new feature.

Stay tuned for much, much more on WP8.
