If you thought we were done talking about the Q2 earnings call you are mistaken. Stephen Elop had a lot to say about Windows Phone 8 and Nokia’s involvement. He also hinted that they will be the first with a WP8.
Elop said “One signal [of what is coming] is that on the number of occasions when Windows Phone 8 has been demonstrated it has been on a Nokia device. We have a close relationship that is unlike what anyone else has with Microsoft.”
So it certainly sounds like they are playing close with Microsoft, but that’s not really a surprise is it? We’d frankly be shocked if Nokia wasn’t first to WP8.
