Nokia may have just recently broke into the U.S. market again, but in the past they were very well known for their durable dumbphones. Just check Reddit for the Nokia memes and you’ll see what we’re talking about. So it’s no suprise to see a report that suggests Nokia phones retain their value longer than other phones.
The chart above was created by NokNok.tv for showing the loss of value over time in top smartphone brands. As you can see Nokia is only behind Motorola for retaining the most value. This is likely due to the great build quality of both Motorola and Nokia devices. People will pay more for a used Nokia because they know it will last.
