Microsoft literally hands off Windows 8 to OEMs

Clearly symbolism is not lost on Microsoft. The team at Redmond has posted a Facebook album full of behind the scenes photos of handing Windows 8 RTM off to OEMs. When we say “handing off” we literally mean putting Windows 8 in their hands. You can see a stack of white boxes for OEMs like Asus, Acer, Toshiba, etc. It’s a fun little look at Microsoft symbolically handing Windows 8 off to their partners. We’re excited to see what they do with it.

  • I’m not at all excited to see what they do with it. In the next two months they will load it up with bloatware and make it as shitty as they have for every other OS update from Microsoft.

Just give me vanilla Win8, please. Danke.
