Microsoft talks about scaling Outlook.com to different sizes and input devices

Like many of Microsoft’s products these days, the new Outlook.com is special. Outlook.com has been built to work on a wide variety of screen sizes and input devices. In a post on the Office blog Microsoft talks a little about how Outlook.com scales and rearranges itself to fit these different situations.

The Outlook web app shows different layouts for large monitors with a keyboard and mouse than it does for a tablet. This is a really great example of good web design. Sites like Google+ look terrible on large displays because they don’t take size into consideration. Good job, Microsoft.
