Acer may be shaking in their footsteps about Microsoft Surface, but Lenovo is not afraid. VP and GM Dillip Bhatia was on ABC News to talk about the launch of the ThinkPad Tablet 2. He had nothing but good things to say about their relationship with Microsoft.
“Microsoft is a strategic partner for us. The ThinkPad Tablet 2 is focused after the business individual; the Surface is more geared towards the consumer.”
This leads us to believe that the Tablet 2 will run Windows 8 Pro, while the Surface wil only run Windows RT at launch. This is likely one thing that OEMs will take advantage of when marketing their devices against Surface.
