Earlier this week we told you that Nokia was preparing their Windows Phone 8 unveiling a week before the announcement of the new iPhone. It looks like HTC will be doing the same, but will be waiting until after Apple unveils its flagship device. The fact that two major partners will be showing their new handsets in September means we could see these devices launching as early as November for consumers.
We’ve told you that HTC is currently preparing three Windows Phone 8 models to reach the different market price points. The “Zenith” will be the flagship handset with a 4.7″ screen and an 8 megapixel camera. The internals of the device will see a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor and most likely 1GB of RAM. Since both Nokia and HTC are gearing up to get these phones ready for consumer launch, we expect Microsoft pushed to make sure devices were available alongside the Windows 8 launch.
