This is going to make a lot of people happy. Ever since Windows Phone was announced with Xbox Live integration people have been begging Microsoft to do more with it. Xbox is arguably Microsoft’s most respected brand, and so far they haven’t been utilizing it enough in Windows devices. That’s about to change in the next generation of products.
WPDownunder has discovered a couple new things with Microsoft’s own Xbox Live games in Windows 8. Firstly, Solitaire will not be bundled with Windows anymore. Instead it will be available for free from the Windows Store. In an update to the game the changelog mentions the ability to pause and pick up a game from any device. This is also available in Mahjong and Minesweeper. This is a killer feature, and we hope other developers will be able to do the same thing.
