Acer still committed to building a Windows RT device, despite CEO’s complaints

Acer CEO JT Wang may not be the biggest advocate of Microsoft Surface, but that hasn’t changed their plans to enter the Windows RT market.¬†Wang and Co. have had some pretty harsh things to say about surface. They’ve threatened Microsoft to “think twice” about Surface, and they’ve said that Surface will have a negative impact on the ecosystem.

In an attempt to mop up the bad publicity and complaining, an Acer spokeswoman has conformed that they are still indeed working on devices for Windows RT to compete with Surface. With all the complaining we really have to wonder how good these devices will be. Regardless, Acer will be there at launch with something.
