According to StatCounter, Windows Phone Will Overtake BlackBerry in November

With the recent growth that Windows Phone has seen over the last month or so, coupled with the fact that BlackBerry share in the US is falling phenomenally fast, Windows Phone is scheduled to overtake BlackBerry share toward the end of November 2012. This projection is based on web data gathered from StatCounter, so it’s not a truly official source per se, but it’s interesting to note both how far Windows Phone has come since its inception, as well as just how far BlackBerry has fallen.

Windows Phone 8 will be here in October, so it’s likely the growth from that will help speed up Windows Phone overtaking BlackBerry as the third ecosystem in the US mobile market.
