HTC Arrive officially removed from Sprint’s website, leaving them Windows Phone-less

Well, we knew this day was coming. The Sprint website officially no longer lists the HTC Arrive. A few weeks ago we heard the device was on Sprint EOL lists, and now just 1 year and 5 months after launch the phone is officially dead. Store¬†availability¬†will be limited, and only replacement devices will be ordered. Now Sprint is the only major U.S. carrier that doesn’t offer a Windows Phone.

Who do we blame for this failure? Microsoft? HTC? Sprint? People who own the Arrive are very happy with it, in fact the Arrive was the highest rated phone on Sprint. So we can’t fault HTC or Microsoft, people liked the software and hardware. Sprint is the real culprit.

Even with high customer satisfaction did we ever see advertising for the device? Was the device ever in prime placement in Sprint stores? The only time we ever saw Sprint use the Arrive was to promote their trade-in program. So long HTC Arrive, we barely knew thee.
