Windows Phone 8 and Windows 8 will have support for Unity game engine

Windows Phone 7 has a lot of good games, but most of them seem to be puzzle or physics based. The platform lacks the fire power of games like “Dead Trigger,” but we’ve been told that will change in WP8.

Unity CEO David Helgason told Edge that their game engine will be coming to both “8” platforms. The Unity engine coming to Windows Phone 8 and Windows 8 is a great sign that these platforms will be powerful gaming tools. Unity is used on practically every modern platform, so it’s very important that WP8 will have it.
