Apple/Samsung Verdict: “Windows Phone is looking gooooood right now”

That title is courtesy of Bill Cox, senior director of Windows Phone marketing communications at Microsoft. He is referring to the verdict in the Apple vs. Samsung court case.

If you’re interested in a full breakdown of the case read all about it at Phandroid.

Microsoft isn’t officially commenting on the verdict, but that hasn’t stopped a couple employees. Frank Shaw went with a more subtle approach: “Using Bing Local Scout on my Windows Phone to look for a place to drink a pint. Love that UI. Fresh. Unique. Different. That is all.”

We couldn’t agree more.

Are you all serious? Microsoft needs to realize the main reason why people will stick with Android is because of the consistency they continue to offer. Windows Phone has never been consistent People buy beta phones that end up turning into bricks within less then a year or even months. I have experienced it to many times being a Microsoft fan with Windows Mobile since 6.5 up to now. I have a HTC Titan that has been sitting in my closet for a couple of months now. It has been more of a dead ass horse with a bunch of OS bugs because Microsoft cannot grow a set of balls to jump down At&t ass to release the updates and fixes to the OS. Here it is going on September and nothing has been released since I got the phone. At&t is suppose to be the head carrier for your phones and you do nothing to make sure that your customers receive the updates that they are sitting on. Meanwhile, your customers are forced to deal with a disappearing keyboard and other bugs which makes the Windows Phone 7 experience horrible. Yet, you all (Microsoft) do nothing.
It is no wonder Sprint and Verizon threw Microsoft the middle finger when it came to Windows Phone 7. They knew something that we all didn’t want to accept, that Microsoft sucks when it comes to the mobile department.

The good news for Microsoft is your experience is not the norm. Windows Phone devices are on the top of most every customer satisfaction chart.

  • It has nothing to do with them flooding the market with thousands of devices. Literally thousands of devices versus five iPhones and twenty Windows Phones.

  • I have a Nokia lumia 900 and could not be happier. I have had an iPhone and 2 android devices. Every OS has bug but androids will always be the last to fix theirs due to how open the OS is.

After I got my HTC titan I can say: I miss the easy system Android. It was better (let me finish), You could hook it up to any computer and I rarley had problems with any formats on my Android devices. Besides, Google services are better than microsofts (my opinion). I miss Maps, navigation, google drive and windgets.
I love the phone and OS, but I hate using zune software (or any extra software), I miss chrome browser, bluetooth does not work and (This REALLY pisses me of) the keyboard does not cover the entire screen (the part it could cover. I see wifi in one end and some kind of eye symbol on the other end.
+ for built quality, fluidity, easy to use (UI), nice big screen and an awsome camera.

Microsoft need to do some work. HTC: Perfectish.
