Dell announces swiveling Windows 8 tablet, Windows RT tablet, and XPS 10 AIO

The Windows news coming out of IFA is picking up steam again. Yesterday was largely dominated by Samsung, but today we’ve got news from several OEMs. Let’s start with Dell, and the three new devices they have announced this morning.

Dell XPS Duo 12

Fans of The Dark Knight Rises may recognize this as the device Bane used to crash the Gotham stock market. The XPS Duo 12 has a 12.5″ swiveling display that allows it to be used as a laptop and tablet. It has a Core i7 processor, Gorilla Glass, and runs full Windows 8.

Dell XPS 10

Almost every company has a Windows RT tablet, and Dell is no different. The XPS 10 runs Windows RT with a Snapdragon S4 processor. Also like other RT devices, the XPS 10 has a detachable keyboard dock that acts as a second battery. Dell says this device will be ready at the Windows 8 launch.

Dell XPS One 27

The XPS One 27 was announced back in May, but today Dell is adding a 10-point touchscreen to the all-in-one. The display is Quad HD, and a new stand allows it to be moved in a variety of angles. Specs from the previous model included a Core i5 or i7 processor, so we expect the same from this model.
