Windows Phone 8 Parental Controls Revealed, Includes Separate Start Screen

One of the things you often hear about on tech sites is children getting hold of their parents smartphones and making thousands of dollars of in-app purchases. Microsoft has seen fit to address the issue by including a Kid’s Corner option in Windows Phone 8 that will allow for unique parental controls for their handsets. Kid’s Corner is a separate start screen environment that allows children access to apps, videos, and games according to what the parent wants their child to see.

It’s basically like a virtual machine for your phone that allows you to choose which applications your child can see and run. It’s an interesting feature for parents who like to allow their children to play with their smartphones.
