We’re excited to see what Nokia has in store for us on September 5th with their Windows Phone 8 devices, but perhaps more interesting of note is that Stephen Elop will be giving a keynote speech next year at Mobile World Congress. This is particularly interesting because it will give Nokia a chance to reflect on the post-holiday sales and express their plans for the future of Windows Phone 8.
Nokia World 2012 is still scheduled next month in Helsinki, Finland, so there’s a lot of bark left in the old dog just yet. Nokia stock has been recovering and the Apple decision against Samsung has decidedly helped both Microsoft and Nokia in the public eye. We’re excited to hear what Elop has to say.
