Nokia Launches Free Music Streaming Service in the United States

Nokia really is stepping up to provide a premium experience for those who buy their phones. Today, the Finnish company announced the release of Nokia Music in the United States. The service is a completely free music experience available only to Nokia Lumia handsets that offers a great new way to explore and discover music. The app allows streaming from over 150 exclusive playlists that are curated and kept up to date. The playlists feature a wide variety of music, from classical to Lady Gaga.

Beyond the curated playlists that Nokia creates, users of the Music app can make their own playlists with the Create function. The service is completely free with no advertisements and doesn’t require any registration or subscription to access. Playlists can even be enjoyed offline, which adds even more versatility to the service. Right now owners of the Lumia 900 and the Lumia 710 can download the Nokia Music app from the marketplace.
